Cairns Athletics Wins At State Championships
WELL March has certainly started off well in the world of Cairns Athletics.
Queensland Athletics State Championship was held in early March with nine (9) Cairns Athletics Athletes attending and giving it their absolute all in the super competitive environment, competing against some of the best athletes in the State.
Along with the NQ Championship that was held in September 2021, Queensland State Titles is the last possibility to gain eligibility to the Athletics Australia National Championships. We were even lucky enough to have our own Cairns Athletics Athlete, Piper Devine come home with a silver medal in the 1500m.
A huge congratulation to those who attended, Nick Fogale, Emalina Fogale, Unity Beitzel, Kayla Montagna; Piper Devine, Aria Lavis, Taj Townsend; Xavier Simms and Kaelan Callaghan.
