Croc spotted near Saltwater Creek

Signs warning the community to be ‘crocwise’ have gone up near a drain feeding Saltwater Creek behind Piccone’s Village on Manoora after a crocodile sighting in the area in the past week.
The drain runs alongside a path between Springfield Crescent and Pease St, and it is a popular area for people walking their dogs and children learning to fish.
The signage warns the community to keep away from the water and the water’s edge and to avoid leaving fishing or food scraps in the area.
